Kate Chuidian
I believe that art tells a story, so having a community in place to be able to share such personal and profound stories is vital. I want to help increase the visibility of artists at UCI, and I’m excited to continue to provide a safe space for students to express themselves. I’m looking forward to expanding Catalyst’s outreach and influence at UCI!

I joined Catalyst to pursue my mission of highlighting student work on campus that would otherwise go unnoticed. I look forward to growing Catalyst’s presence while providing a platform where creativity, innovation, and student voices are celebrated.

Ailyn Hernandez Perez
I joined in order to contribute to a creative and collaborative team that gives UCI more vitality and color. All majors are allowed to participate in shows through Catalyst. It's also a fun approach to use art to build connections with others. Additionally, I enjoy working behind the scenes at exhibitions.

It’s incredible to have a space on campus where artists are encouraged to connect with others and share their work—and have it be student-led at that! I would love to spread the reach of Catalyst to more departments and students!

I wanted to be more involved with the arts community on campus and meet new people. I look forward to collaborating with young artists and helping them grow at UCI by encouraging them to put their work out there.
